Hello!
My name is Lauren and I am passionate about bold, impactful makeup and beauty products across the board regardless of price (I’m no snob). I aim to use my social media platforms to share my beauty tips and also to empower others around me to be the best version of themselves.
It shouldn’t take an essay for you to get to know me, so here are 10 simple facts about me:
1. I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa.
2. I graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
3. I’m a fully qualified attorney.
4. I have a younger sister who is 7 years younger than me.
5. I LOVE to write – which probably explains why I chose a career in law and why I started a blog. My fave subjects in school were History and English. I hated Maths with a passion (uggggh).
6. I took a Gap Year after matriculating and worked odd jobs to make money. One of these jobs required me to work at a small cosmetics store near where I lived and that’s how I got into experimenting with makeup. It’s also why I’m so into trying and reviewing new products!
7. My first overseas trip was when I went on holiday to America. It was sooo much fun and really sparked my desire to travel more.
8. I really enjoy being creative and through out my life have dabbled in many artistic hobbies such as ballet, playing guitar, singing, drama and photography.
9. My star sign is Aquarius.
10. I have yet to finish an entire tube of lipstick in my life (this one may change due to circumstances – stay tuned!)
