I was lucky enough to receive a gift box from Natuurlik pragtig with skincare goodies that will help make my skin summer ready!The package I got is suitable for all skin types and is coffee and vanilla scented – smells so good it’s tempting to eat it! It contains our full Harmony range of products including a body lotion (200 ml), body sugar scrub (300 g), face mask (100 g), lip balm (10 ml) and sugar lip scrub (10 ml).

The gift box is part of the Natuurlik Pragtig 7 day skin challenge which took place from September 30 – 6 October. where customers were required to post pictures of themselves partaking in the challenge to stand a chance to win a R250 voucher. SUGAR SCRUB: This thick dark brown/grey sugar scrub contains essential coconut and olive oils which help to nourish and moisturise the skin while exfoliating and getting rid of dry skin cells on the top layer of the skin. The jar is big and so can be used as a body exfoliant. I wouldn’t use it everyday as it can be harsh on the skin – maybe 2-3 times a week is best. It works instantly and you can feel your skin feeling much smoother. It’s definitely my favourite product out of the bunch. I will definitely be getting use of this in summer and since I struggle with dry skin, but this would be great in winter months too. The mixture itself is extremely thick and coarse to the touch but once you spread it over your body it turns into a thin layer and then when you wash it off with warm water, it almost melts off the skin leaving behind smooth, silky skin.

HAND & BODY LOTION: This body lotion is just the right texture, not too thick but still creamy. It spreads nicely and absorbs quickly into the skin. It’s also suitable for sensitive skin because of the natural ingredients used.

CLAY FACE MASK:This face mask contains kaolin clay. The mask is already ready to use straight from the tub which is so convenient (compared to other masks where there’s a process involved to get the mixture ready) and is a thick in texture so add it on a little at a time to your face  to build up the layers. Although it’s a little messy the mixture is thick so it no need to worry about it falling off your face.

LIP BALM: Really nicely scented and smells divine on your lips (hint, hint). It’s also small enough to pop into your handbag and have on the go. I am not a big fan of the lip balms in tubs because it means you get your fingers dirty but that’s a minor issue because it works great.

LIP SCRUB: Dry chapped lips are a pain. This lip scrub is really great to use, especially for when you want to wear matte or brightly coloured lipsticks you need to keep your lips in tip-top shape with no dry patches and this product really does a great job at just that. Apply it to your lips in a circular motion and then wipe with a clean wet cloth. The scrub feels a bit like sandpaper but once you wash it off with a bit of warm water you have super smooth, soft lips!

Overall I’m impressed with these great skincare products and I highly recommend them!
